Description

Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
The course is aimed at the learners practicing life-saving skills all the time, using basic and advanced equipment.
Requirements:
Registered doctors, nursing staff and advanced and intermediate life support paramedics, as well as final year students in these fields can attend the course. A valid AHA certificate (ACLS/PALS/BLS) is a pre-entry requirement and a BLS course will be presented prior to the course if necessary.
Duration:
PALS 2 Days 8-18h00.
BLS 6 hrs if required.

• Basic and Advanced Airway Management
• Cardiac arrest
• Respiratory emergencies
• Shocked paediatric victims
Test:
There is an official exam at the beginning of the course.
Certificate:
On successful completion, each candidate receives a certificate which is valid for 2 years and internationally recognised.
CPD points:
30 CPD (CEU) points for PALS and 11 for BLS.
Learners should receive the prescribed manual at least 4 weeks prior to the course in order to prepare and benefit maximal from the course. We can also present the course at your premises at no extra cost if it is within a 50 km radius from Pretoria, Lynnwood Ridge and you have at least 8 candidates. R7/km traveling cost is payable if we need to travel further than 50 kms.
