Aviation Health Care Providers Course (AHCP)

Requirements:
Registered doctors, nursing staff and paramedics.
Duration:
5 Days (08h00-18h00)
Contents:
Management of the critically sick/injured patients in-flight.
Gas laws.
Aerodynamics.
Practical sessions on rotor and fixed wing aircraft.
Safety procedures and operation of flight-medical crew.
Stress factors in-flight.
Rotor wing vs fixed wing aircraft.
International flights: crew responsibilities.
Test:
There is an official exam at the beginning of the course.
Certificate:
On successful completion, each candidate receives a certificate.

CPD points:
30 CPD (CEU) points.
Learners should receive the prescribed manual at least 6 weeks prior to the course in order to prepare and benefit maximal from the course.
