Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) RENEWAL Day 1 Course

The course is aimed at the learners practicing life-saving skills all the time, using basic and advanced equipment.

Requirements:

ONLY experienced Registered doctors, nursing staff and advanced and intermediate life support paramedics will be accepted. A valid PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certificate is mandatory. Each participant must have their own copy of the 2020 PALS Guidelines Manual.

Duration:

PALS 1 Day 8-18h00.

Contents:

• Basic and Advanced Airway Management • Cardiac arrest • Respiratory emergencies • Shocked paediatric victims

Test:

There is an official exam at the beginning of the course as well as a practical exam at the end.

Certificate:

On successful completion, each candidate receives a certificate which is valid for 2 years and internationally recognised.

Cost:

- R2500 pp (have own PALS 2020 Guidelines manual)

CPD points:

30 CPD (CEU) points for PALS which includes 1 ethic point. .
