ACLS Pretoria R4190 (ONLY for NURSES)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) The course is aimed at the learners practicing life-saving skills all the time, using basic and advanced equipment. Requirements: THIS SPECIFIC ACLS COURSE IS AVAILABLE FOR NURSING STAFF ONLY. A valid AHA certificate (ACLS/PALS/BLS) is a pre-entry requirement and a BLS course will be presented prior to the course if necessary. Duration: ACLS 2 Days 8-18h00. Contents: • Basic and Advanced Airway Management • Cardiac arrest • Acute Coronary Syndromes and Stroke • Peri-arrest situations eg bradycardia and tachycardia Test: There is an official exam at the beginning of the course. Certificate: On successful completion, each candidate receives a certificate which is valid for 2 years and internationally recognised. Cost: R4190 R1400 pp for BLS if required Mailing of manuals R150 OR collect from us in Lynnwood Ridge. CPD points: 30 CPD (CEU) points for ACLS and 11 for BLS. Learners should receive the prescribed manual at least 4 weeks prior to the course in order to prepare and benefit maximal from the course. We can also present the course at your premises at no extra cost if it is within a 50 km radius from Pretoria, Lynnwood Ridge and you have at least 8 candidates.
